Performance Tech Motorsports Makes IMSA Return in Airbnb Endurance Challenge at COTA

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Performance Tech Motorsports is excited to announce that the team is set to compete in the upcoming round of the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge championship as part of the IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge weekend at Circuit of The Americas, taking place Thursday, May 7 through Saturday, May 9, 2026.

The team will field the No. 38 Ligier JS P320 in the LMP3 class, with Daniel Oliver and Martin Bruhat sharing driving duties.

Oliver enters the event eager to make his IMSA debut, stepping up from sim racing into prototype competition. His strong engineering background has enabled him to translate his simulator skills into real-world racing, and his rapid growth as a competitor has made him one to watch as the series heads to Austin, Texas.

“I’m looking forward to making my IMSA debut in the LMP3 with such a storied team like Performance Tech Motorsports,” said Oliver. “I really feel embraced by the team and I’m excited to show that sim racers can make this large step up successfully.”

Bruhat enters COTA with prior prototype and endurance racing experience, having previously competed and succeeded in FARA USA events, including an enduro win at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“I’m really excited heading into this weekend at COTA with Performance Tech Motorsports,” exclaimed Bruhat. “It’s a track I love and this is a big step for me to be racing in IMSA. I’m thrilled to be working closely with the team and we’ll be doing everything we can to put together a strong performance.”

Team owner Brent O’Neill expressed confidence in the driver lineup and the team’s preparation heading into the weekend.

“We’re excited to welcome Daniel to the team and pair him with Martin for this event,” said O’Neill. “He’s shown strong potential, and this is a great opportunity for him to transition into real-world endurance racing. As always, our goal is to be competitive and execute a clean, consistent race weekend.”

The on-track action begins on Thursday, May 7, with Practice 1 from 3:35 PM to 4:25 PM. Friday features two additional practice sessions from 9:25 AM to 10:15 AM, and 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM, respectively, before heading into Qualifying from 2:10 PM to 2:25 PM. The two-hour race is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, from 11:05 AM to 1:05 PM local time.
