DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Several new IMSA initiatives, programs and announcements were revealed in the run-up to the 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona, primarily before and around the third annual IMSA Technology Symposium on Friday morning.

January 22: New IMSA Michelin Sustainability in Racing Award Program Launches at Rolex 24 At Daytona
Michelin and IMSA have confirmed details of the new IMSA Michelin Sustainability in Racing Award, which will be presented to one Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) entry in each round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The award was announced as part of IMSA’s annual State of the Sport held at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in October 2025, during the Motul Petit Le Mans season finale weekend, with details finalized for the 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona on January 24-25, 2026.
January 22: Daytona International Speedway Announces Long-Term Extension with Rolex
Daytona International Speedway announced today that the track will enter a long-term extension with Rolex to remain as the Rolex 24 Title Sponsor and Official Timepiece of the Rolex 24.
