DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A record crowd – the second in three years – watched as the world’s best sports car drivers took on the twice-around-the-clock challenge of the Rolex 24 At Daytona. That wasn’t the only action to open the 2026 IMSA season though as the Roar Before the Rolex 24 test and main event week combined to provide fans with eight days of on-track activity.
Five different series took to the famous high banks of the 3.56-mile Daytona International Speedway road course over the two weeks – IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin and Historic Sportscar Racing.
