BHA to Run Four Hyundai Elantra N TCR Cars in 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bryan Herta Autosport will pilot four Hyundai Elantra N TCR cars in the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. The lineup is as follows:

No. 18 – Lance Bergstein and Harry Gottsacker
No. 33 – Mason Filippi and Bryson Morris
No. 76 – Preston Brown and Denis Dupont
No. 98 – Mark Wilkins and Maddie Aust

All eight drivers drove for BHA in 2025, but the only duo that remains on the same car is Dupont and Brown in the #76. Collectively, this group achieved five race wins, seven podiums, and six pole positions last season.

BHA is coming off the heels of Team and Driver Championship wins in 2025, their sixth championship title. The No. 98 car brought home the Team Championship, and Harry Gottsacker won his second Driver’s Championship. Hyundai also won the Manufacturer’s title for the sixth year in a row.

Team owner Bryan Herta says “We are excited to represent Hyundai for our eighth consecutive year, and to announce a tremendous driving lineup for the season. We feel confident we have the right combination across our four entries to strongly defend Hyundai’s Manufacturer Championship as well as the Team and Driver Championships. 2026 is shaping up to be an amazing season for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, with strong competition from some familiar teams and manufacturers, as well as some new ones as well. We are pleased to have the consistency of all eight drivers being returnees from last year. Looking forward to getting started at Daytona.”

Hyundai Hope On Wheels (HHOW) will continue their Laps Led program for the 2026 season. For every lap led by a Hyundai in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, $100 will be donated to a local children’s hospital. During the 2025 season, the program generated $41,500 in donations to hospitals across the country. In addition to the per-lap contribution, HHOW will donate an additional $5,000 if the #33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR finishes on the podium, and $10,000 if the #33 secures a race victory.

BHA’s first race of the 2026 season will be January 23rd at Daytona International Speedway.

Joining the eight full season drivers for the race in Daytona are Andre Castro, Josh Buchan, and Jon Miller.

Castro will join the No. 98 of Wilkins and Aust in Daytona. Andre received his invite to join BHA after a successful test alongside other Hyundai N Trophy Cup drivers. This is the first year of an ongoing alignment between the BHA Elantra N TCR program and competitors in the growing Hyundai N Trophy Cup.

Josh Buchan, a top touring car and GT driver from Australia, will drive the No. 33 Elantra N TCR with Morris and Filippi. Buchan won a 2025 TCR World Tour event in Macau, and is traveling from Australia for his first-ever race in the United States.

Miller will pilot the No. 18 Elantra N TCR alongside Bergstein and Gottsacker. Miller is a familiar face who drove under BHA in the No. 18 with Bergstein for the final four races of 2025.

DRIVER QUOTES:

Harry Gottsacker, No. 18: “I’m looking forward to being back with BHA and Hyundai in 2026 and working with Lance for the season. I think we are going to have a strong pairing and keep building on the success we had in 2025 with the Hyundai Elantra N TCR. Lance and I have similar goals for the season and we’re going to come out in Daytona pushing to grab wins and podiums!”

Lance Bergstein, No. 18: “I’m incredibly excited to be back for the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season driving the Hyundai Elantra N TCR for Bryan Herta Autosport. BHA has a proven championship-winning program, and running again with them is a huge opportunity. Sharing the car with last season’s champion, Harry Gottsacker, is especially motivating—his experience and pace will push us to be competitive right from the start. I can’t wait to get to Daytona and start fighting for wins.”

Bryson Morris, No. 33: “Really excited to be back with Bryan Herta Autosport and Hyundai USA in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. I’ll also get to be paired up with Mason who was the one to beat last year, helping Harry win the championship. We also live in the same town so we have built up good chemistry over the last two years and I’m sure it will pay off as we fight for the 2026 championship.”

Mason Filippi, No. 33: “I am excited to return with Bryan Herta Autosport in the Hyundai Elantra N TCR. BHA has set the standard in this paddock, and it’s an honor to represent a program that consistently delivers at the highest level. Having Bryson as my co-driver makes this even stronger — we’re aligned, motivated, and ready to push hard all year. I’m looking forward to a fantastic season and fighting for wins together.”

Denis Dupont, No. 76: “I’m very happy to sign for another year with BHA. We have had a lot of success with Preston since joining the team 2 years ago. But we haven’t scored a podium at every track so we had to come back and try to fix this.”

Preston Brown, No. 76: “While I’ve been keeping sharp with other forms of racing during the off-season, I’m as excited as ever to get back to Michelin Pilot Challenge with Denis in our Hyundai Elantra N TCR. With all the changes to car lineups over the winter, both manufacturers and drivers, we’re expecting the season ahead to be as competitive as ever. We’re ready for the challenge.”

Mark Wilkins, No. 98: “I’m elated to be back with BHA and Hyundai for a ninth season of TCR competition! It has been an incredibly rewarding run with so many amazing moments and accomplishments over the years. For 2026, I’ll have a new co-driver but very familiar teammate in Maddie Aust. Maddie had a steep learning curve last season and did an incredible job behind the wheel. We will be focused on podium runs and pushing hard to have a consistent and rewarding season! Once again, our BHA squad will be working collectively, chasing yet another championship trophy for Hyundai! I’m excited to see our N Club friends at Daytona in the coming weeks and getting to work at the ROAR test! The 2026 season can’t come soon enough!”

Maddie Aust, No. 98: “I’m excited to return to Bryan Herta Autosport for the 2026 season. Being paired with Mark, who brings so much experience to the team, is a great opportunity for me to continue learning and growing as a driver. I’m confident that together we can work hard and put together a solid season.”

DAYTONA DRIVERS:

Andre Castro, No. 98: “I’m truly thrilled to be making my IMSA debut in Daytona with Bryan Herta Autosport. I’ve known Bryan for several years, so it feels like a full circle moment to be teaming up with his championship-winning organization. I’m incredibly grateful for Hyundai’s support and for their faith in me. After making my touring car debut in the Hyundai N Trophy Cup, it’s clear they are serious about promoting talent up the ladder, and that the TC to TCR pipeline is a valuable opportunity for drivers like myself. I have to thank Jeff Ricca, Victor Gonzalez, Borkan & Scahill LTD, Olivia Racing, and many others for making this dream come true. I can’t wait to get to work at the Roar and drive on the high banks of Daytona for the first time.”

Josh Buchan, No. 33: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining BHA for Daytona in January. I thought it was a joke at first, but for this to come to fruition is incredible and I’m very thankful this collaboration has come together. I’m certain my experiences in the ’25 season winning multiple races in the TCR World Championship can bring some positives to the team. However, I’m also excited to learn from BHA who is respected worldwide as a top motorsport team. Most importantly, I’m looking forward to meeting my teammates and assisting them in starting their 2026 IMSA season with a strong result!”

Jon Miller, No. 18: “We finished 2025 on a strong note with Bryan Herta Autosport, and coming back together for the 2026 Daytona opener feels like the best way to keep that momentum rolling. I’ve got long-standing relationships with both Harry and Lance, which brings a level of trust and chemistry that really matters in such a competitive series. With Hyundai’s continued commitment to TCR and the strength of the BHA program, we’re confident we’ve got the package to fight at the front right from the start of the season.”
