DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Grand Sport (GS) champions RS1 (Rennsport One) steps up to the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup rounds of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship this season. The team has added Dillon Machavern and Sven Mueller to its No. 28 Porsche 911 GT3 R alongside the previously announced Jan Heylen and Eric Zitza.
RS1 ran with Heylen and Zitza at the IMSA-sanctioned November test at Daytona International Speedway to gain their first laps with its GT3-spec car.
Heylen and Luca Mars co-drove the winning No. 28 Porsche 718 GT4 RS CS to the GS title in 2025 with three wins. Heylen is a past Rolex 24 class winner, having been part of Wright Motorsports’ 2022-winning lineup in Grand Touring Daytona (GTD).
