MONTEREY, Calif. – Mustang Challenge North America travels west for the second round of the 2026 season at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. This will be the second time Ford Mustang Dark Horse R race cars have competed at the iconic 2.238-mile round course.
In 2025, Robert Noaker swept both races here on his way to a second consecutive Dark Horse Championship. In the Dark Horse Legends class a year ago, Alex Bachoura scored the top spot in both races. Noaker has moved on to the Michelin Pilot Challenge GS class in a Mustang GT4 in 2026.
In the first round at Sebring International Raceway, three drivers put on impressive performances in their Mustang Challenge debuts. In the Dark Horse class, Cole Loftsgard won both races and set the fastest qualifying time, and Michael Tosi finished on the second step of the podium in both races. Chris Clarke in Dark Horse Legends scored two podium finishes.
