DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Andretti Performance announced today it will run two 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge events, the No. 43 Andretti Performance Porsche 718 GT4 RS CS.
The entry will run at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with Jarett Andretti set to share the car with Gabby Chaves; both have extensive IMSA experience.
Andretti has made 26 WeatherTech Championship starts from 2021 to 2024, plus a 27th top-level IMSA start in the 2012 Rolex 24 At Daytona, primarily racing a Ligier JS P320 Le Mans Prototype 3 (LMP3) car but also having made a few Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) appearances in both an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R.
Chaves has 29 WeatherTech Championship starts spanning 2014 to 2024, with his 2022 through 2024 ones coming alongside Andretti. He also has been a race winner in Michelin Pilot Challenge before, aboard a Hyundai Touring Car (TCR) entry.
Michelin Pilot Challenge resumes at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Saturday, May 2.
