Heinrich Expands 2026 IMSA Season with JDC-Miller MotorSports

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) champion, Laurin Heinrich, will have a busier 2026 IMSA season than originally announced.

Heinrich was confirmed as part of JDC-Miller MotorSports’ No. 5 Porsche 963 entry in Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on Wednesday, and then announced an expanded role with JDC-Miller MotorSports for most of the rest of the season.

That means we are going to the west coast already next week for the Grand Prix of Long Beach which will be my first time racing at this iconic street circuit! Incredibly thankful to be given this opportunity, collecting more valuable experience in the 963 and also joining a renowned team such as JDC-Miller MotorSports. I will share the car with Tijmen van der Helm for the first time and can’t wait to get to work!”

Heinrich added he’ll miss the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen due to other commitments, and will be back in the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport Porsche 963 at Motul Petit Le Mans as previously announced.

As third driver alongside Felipe Nasr and Julien Andlauer, Heinrich won the opening two rounds of the season, the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
