DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Coming off a recent podium finish in the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks, Conquest Racing is pleased to announce that accomplished American racing driver Mike Skeen will join the team for the season finale of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Skeen will team up with full-season drivers Manny Franco and Daniel Serra in the No. 34 Conquest Racing Ferrari 296 GT3, competing in the Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) class as they seek a return to victory lane following the team’s win in the event last year.
A proven competitor across multiple disciplines, Skeen brings a wealth of experience to the program. His career includes a background competing in multiple sports car series including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, along with appearances in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Truck Series as a road course specialist.
Skeen has earned podiums at some of endurance racing’s most prestigious events, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, in addition to sprint race achievements at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park and Road America. He also brings prior experience with the Ferrari 296 GT3 platform, making him a strong addition to the Conquest Racing effort for the 10-hour endurance classic.
“I’m very excited to join Conquest for Petit Le Mans,” said Skeen. “Road Atlanta is like a home track for me and we’ve already had a successful test there. The team has been quick this season and I’m greatly looking forward to helping them achieve a great result to finish out the year.”
“We had the chance to work with Mike during a recent test and he immediately showed very promising pace,” added Team Owner Eric Bachelart. “We are excited to welcome him into the team, he will be a valuable asset alongside Manny and Daniel for Petit Le Mans. We are aiming to finish the season on a high note, and I am confident that we have an exceptional lineup to be able to compete at the highest level.”
The upcoming Motul Petit Le Mans will take place from October 8 to 11 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to conclude the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. The road course, which features dramatic elevation changes and highly technical corners, is a highlight on the calendar. Last year, Conquest Racing took home the GTD class victory in the 10-hour endurance event, and will be aiming to win for the second consecutive time.
