2022 Class Champion Back for Seventh Season
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Tower Motorsports will run its seventh straight season in the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2026 with John Farano as its first confirmed driver of the team’s No. 8 ORECA LMP2 07.
The 2022 LMP2 class champions have scored a season-best finish of second in 2025 at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Their best race on the calendar, statistically, is yet to come with the Motul Petit Le Mans upcoming in October. Tower won at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta three straight years from 2020 through 2022.
