Acura Meyer Shank Racing Confirmed For 2026 IMSA GTP Season

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb-Agajanian is set for its second straight season with two Acura ARX-06 entries in the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in its top-level Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class.

The two-car effort of the No. 60 and No. 93 Acuras has impressed throughout the 2025 season, with the traditional No. 60 car led by the Meyer Shank Racing operation and the No. 93 car featuring an enhanced engineering and crew representation from Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) alongside the MSR crew.

“It’s been an amazing season reuniting with the Meyer Shank Racing team under the Acura Meyer Shank Racing banner,” said David Salters, President, Honda Racing Corporation USA. “We’ve had two wins so far, we’re fighting for the manufacturers’ championship, and there’s two races still to run. I’m so proud of everything this group of men and women at Acura MSR and HRC US have accomplished this year and I’m looking forward to building on that momentum for next season. We have had delight and despair running car No. 93 so far – watch our docuseries – this was a new challenge we set ourselves to grow at HRC and we love it! We love racing for Acura, we love MSR, we love IMSA and we love our fans! Heady times for sports car racing, to be in the middle of this era and entertain the fans with these super cool GTP prototypes makes us very proud to represent HRC.”

Mike Shank, co-owner, Acura Meyer Shank Racing, added: “As we finish out a solid 2025 IMSA season with Acura, of course we’re excited and already looking forward to 2026. The merger of the MSR crew and HRC engineering staff has been fun to watch and be a part of. We’ve all learned a lot this year and saw some great success on track. The Acura and HRC support and partnership is incredible, and we’re ready to chase a Championship next year.”

Acura has been atop the GTP field often in the summer of 2025, with the No. 93 Acura of Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly winning its first race on the streets of Detroit in late May and the No. 60 Acura of Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun winning the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen the next race in June. Van der Zande and Yelloly have also combined for three straight Motul Pole Awards at Detroit, Watkins Glen and Road America. Entering the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks, Acura sits second in the GTP manufacturer’s championship, only 45 points behind the leaders.

Drivers for the 2026 season will be announced at a later date.
