Inception Racing Back Again With Ferrari For 2026 WeatherTech Championship Season

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Inception Racing, IMSA regulars since the end of the 2021 season, will be back once more in the 2026 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) class, with its No. 70 Ferrari 296 GT3 confirmed for the 2026 season.

The trio of Brendan Iribe, Frederik Schandorff and Ollie Millroy broke through for their elusive first WeatherTech Championship victory at the TireRack.com Battle On The Bricks at Indianapolis in September. Iribe and Schandorff (full season) and Millroy (IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup) will be back again in 2026.

But first, they have a pair of championships they’re trying to wrap in 2025. Iribe is tied for the lead in the Bob Akin Award in GTD for Bronze-rated drivers; the recipient of the Bob Akin Award receives an automatic invitation from IMSA to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Additionally, Iribe, Schandorff and Millroy lead the Michelin Endurance Cup championship this year. Iribe and Schandorff sit eighth in the full season WeatherTech Championship GTD standings.

The team will announce its fourth driver for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona at a later date.
