DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Three long-time teams are set to tackle the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season once again.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Turner Motorsport will be back next season in the Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) class with the No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
Two more teams were announced on Thursday, one apiece in Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2).
The 2022 GTD PRO champions, Pfaff Motorsports, are set for their second season with the No. 9 Lamborghini.
Meanwhile Pratt Miller Motorsports has confirmed its LMP2 effort in the No. 73 ORECA LMP2 07.
They join the list of already announced 2026 entries that include:
- Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports, No. 52 ORECA LMP2 07, LMP2
- Intersport Racing, No. 37 ORECA LMP2 07, LMP2
- Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb-Agajanian, Nos. 60 and 93 Acura ARX-06, Grand Touring Prototype (GTP)
- Ford Multimatic Motorsports, Nos. 64 and 65 Ford Mustang GT3, GTD PRO
- Tower Motorsports, No. 8 ORECA LMP2 07, LMP2
- United Autosports USA, Nos. 2 and 22 ORECA LMP2 07, LMP2
