DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Italian GT ace Matteo Cairoli has been confirmed for the Rolex 24 At Daytona with 10star-DragonSpeed.

The team secures one of the GT field’s strongest talents. Cairoli, a former 24 Hours of Nürburgring overall winner and proven FIA World Endurance Championship victor, will pilot the No. 81 Corvette Z06 GT3.R. He joins full-season drivers Henrik Hedman and Giacomo Altoè, along with IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup specialist Casper Stevenson, for the iconic 24-hour classic.
“The addition of Matteo to our lineup signals exactly what we are aiming to do: surround Henrik with a rapid, powerful and experienced lineup!” said team principal Elton Julian.
“I am glad to join the team for the Rolex 24 At Daytona in such a strong lineup.” added Cairoli. “I will give my very best to adapt to the car as quick as possible and would be cool to get a successful result in our first time together.”
DragonSpeed, which nearly won the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) class in its first attempt in 2025, confirmed a shift back to Grand Touring Daytona and a move from Ferrari to Corvette earlier this month.
Cairoli has made five Rolex 24 starts since 2017 (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2024) in either Porsche or Lamborghini machinery, with a best finish of eighth in GTD PRO in 2022 aboard a WeatherTech Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R.
