BHA with PR1/Mathiasen Confirms Several 2026 Lineup Elements

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports today confirmed its complete four-driver lineup for the upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship test at Daytona International Speedway, November 14–15, while also announcing Misha Goikhberg as a full-season driver for the 2026 IMSA Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) program and Ben Keating as the team’s fourth driver for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Joining them for the Daytona test will be Tristan Vautier and Parker Thompson, completing a roster that blends endurance-racing pedigree, championship experience, and emerging talent for the first official on-track sessions of the new BHA/PR1 partnership.

The test marks the team’s debut outing since announcing its joint LMP2 program in September and represents a key milestone in preparation for both the 2026 season and the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January.

Inside the Lineup: Meet the drivers testing at Daytona.

Goikhberg Joins for Full 2026 Season

Canadian driver Misha Goikhberg has been confirmed as a full-season driver for the 2026 IMSA LMP2 campaign. An accomplished endurance racer, Goikhberg’s career highlights include victories at the Rolex 24 At Daytona (2016), the Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen (2018), and Motul Petit Le Mans (2023), as well as titles in IMSA Prototype Lites and podiums in multiple categories. His recent second-place finish at Petit Le Mans 2024 reinforced his continued form at the highest level of North American sports-car racing.

Misha Goikhberg: “This is a bit of a homecoming for me, as I have raced prototypes from 2012-2019, often competing against PR1. I have missed prototype racing, and I am thrilled to taste the downforce and take a ride in a purpose built race car. Once I learned that two organizations like BHA and PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports are coming together for this program, I knew I would love to be part of it. I am very excited to see what we can achieve in the LMP2 class together.”

Keating Returns to Familiar Colors

Fellow Bronze-rated driver Ben Keating will rejoin the BHA with PR1/Mathiasen family for the Daytona test and will serve as the team’s fourth driver in the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona. A two-time FIA World Endurance Champion and double Le Mans class winner, Keating has been part of multiple championship-winning efforts with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports and remains one of endurance racing’s most respected gentleman drivers.

Ben Keating: “I am so excited to race in the Rolex 24 again with PR1. I’m grateful to be back in the LMP2—this was my first endurance race back in 2011 and I haven’t missed a Rolex 24 since! I’m excited to be back in the purple Wynns livery and in the IMSA paddock. It all feels like home; every little piece is part of one big family.”

Vautier and Thompson Add Depth for Daytona

Tristan Vautier, gold-rated French driver with victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring (2021) and podiums at the Rolex 24 (2022), brings high-level experience from both IndyCar and international GT competition.

Tristan Vautier: “I’m very much looking forward to joining the BHA/PR1 guys this week. I want to thank Bryan and Bobby for having me. I’ve worked with Misha and Ben in the past and have known Parker for a while, so I know we’ll all get along very well.”

Parker Thompson, a silver-rated Canadian and 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro Champion, will also take part. Thompson has earned multiple GTD podiums with Lexus Racing USA and holds the GTD class pole record at Daytona.

Parker Thompson: “I am very excited to be back in Daytona, and this time with a new challenge of getting closer to my roots in a prototype with the LMP2. After years of racing open-wheel in the US before my switch to GT cars in IMSA, it feels refreshing that I get to put some of that muscle memory back to use. I’m also looking forward to getting to know all the fine folks at BHA/PR1 Mathiesen. I’ve got a lot of respect for both Bryan Herta and Bobby Oergel, so I’m really proud to get in on the ground floor of the initial partnership for these two American racing legends.”

Leadership Perspectives

Bryan Herta, President – Bryan Herta Autosport: “We are very pleased to start our on-track preparations for the Rolex 24 and the 2026 season. Misha, Parker, and Ben are all experienced drivers who bring a wealth of knowledge and speed. These next steps are so important as we continue to build for the future, and I’m personally excited to work with our drivers and team this week at Daytona International Speedway.”

Bobby Oergel, Team Principal – PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports: “It’s great to get the ball rolling and to work with Misha and Parker for the first time at a test like this. Having Ben join us adds icing on the cake as he gets reacquainted with the LMP2 car ahead of January. The amount of experience these four—Misha, Ben, Parker and Tristan—bring around Daytona is amazing. I’m sure we’ll come away with a lot of valuable information to dissect ahead of returning in January.”
