DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – In January 2024, United Autosports USA joined the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship grid as full season Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) contenders for the first time.
At lightning speed, the Mooresville, North Carolina-based team established themselves as frontrunners in the competitive LMP2 pack, securing four pole positions, 10 front row starts, three race wins – including the iconic Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2025 – five podiums and a further seven top-five finishes over two seasons.
Today, United Autosports USA reveals its driver lineup for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona with one clear goal – a second consecutive Daytona race win to kick off a championship-winning WeatherTech Championship season.
Phil Fayer, who was previously announced as a full-season driver in the No. 2 ORECA LMP2 07, is gearing up for his Rolex 24 debut in two months’ time. The Canadian will be joined by Daytona and 24 Hours of Le Mans race winner Ben Hanley and – two new additions to the United Autosports USA squad – four-time WeatherTech Championship race winner Hunter McElrea and 11-time winner Mikkel Jensen.
Daniel Goldburg returns for his third consecutive season in the United Autosports USA No. 22 ORECA LMP2 07, following a stellar multi-race winning streak with the team in 2025. Goldburg will be rejoined by fellow Rolex 24 and Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen race winners Paul Di Resta and Rasmus Lindh, together with the new addition of World Endurance Championship (WEC) podium placer, Gregoire Saucy.
“Winning the 24 Hours of Daytona is a monumental achievement, and one which we are extremely proud of,” said Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO. “Going for back-to-back victories is bold but with two driver lineups that combine proven, race-winning United Autosports names and formidable new additions to the team, we are putting ourselves in the strongest possible position to lift that trophy once again in 2026.”
The green flag drops on the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Saturday, Jan. 24, preceded by The Roar Before the Rolex 24 test session, Jan. 16-18.
