DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – AJ Allmendinger’s return to Acura Meyer Shank Racing highlights its lineup for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup rounds in 2026, alongside three returning drivers in Scott Dixon, Alex Palou and Kakunoshin “Kaku” Ohta.

#60 Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb-Agajanian Acura DPi, DPi: AJ Allmendinger, portraitAllmendinger made 15 previous Rolex 24 At Daytona starts with MSR from 2006 through 2021, only missing 2017 in the first year of Meyer Shank Racing’s first run with the Acura NSX GT3. His most recent start was in the team’s Daytona Prototype international (DPi) specification Acura ARX-05 in 2021. He was part of the team’s Rolex 24-winning lineup in 2012 with Ozz Negri, John Pew and the late Justin Wilson.

Now, he and Dixon will join full-season co-drivers Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun in the No. 60 Acura ARX-06. Dixon will continue as third driver for the Rolex 24 At Daytona, Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and Motul Petit Le Mans, respectively.

The No. 93 car features an unchanged endurance lineup with Palou and Ohta slotting in alongside Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly. Palou will be the team’s third driver at Daytona, Sebring and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta with Ohta the third driver at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.

Neither car is slated to run a third driver at the new six-hour Road America round in August, which replaces Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the fifth Michelin Endurance Cup race for 2026.

The team released an unchanged full-season lineup last week.
