MONTEREY, Calif. – The second, and final, leg of the West Coast Swing brought the
IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to picturesque Monterey and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the TireRack.com Monterey SportsCar Championship.
Three of the four WeatherTech Championship classes competed on the first natural terrain road course of the season: Grand Touring Prototype (GTP), Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and Grand Touring Daytona (GTD).
Also taking to the 11-turn, 2.238-mile course during the weekend was the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America and Mustang Challenge.
