Inside the Lineup: Meet the Drivers
The Full-Season Core: Goikhberg & Tincknell
Misha Goikhberg, with victories at the Rolex 24 At Daytona, 6 Hours of Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans, will return to prototype racing full-time with the new BHA/PR1 partnership.
Joining him for the full season is platinum-rated driver, Harry Tincknell. Known for his pace and technical expertise in endurance racing, Tincknell brings a distinguished resume that includes multiple class victories in international sports car competition and extensive prototype experience, creating a formidable pairing for the 2026 LMP2 title hunt.
Misha Goikhberg: “It’s an honor to take on the 2026 season with Bryan Herta Autosport and PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports. This partnership brings together proven race-winning experience, and working alongside Harry, Parker and Ben only strengthens what we can achieve. The team environment is already exceptional, and I’m motivated to deliver the kind of performances this program deserves.”
Harry Tincknell: “I’m excited to be joining Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports for the 2026 season. I’ve raced with PR1/Mathiasen before at Daytona and had a really good experience, so I know what they’re capable of. I think we have all the ingredients for success — a team with a strong history and a tight-knit culture.
With Ben, Misha, and Parker, we’ve got an incredible lineup. They’re drivers I’ve known for a long time, and I know what they can do on track. If we work hard, we can have a very strong year.
Being back in IMSA is really exciting. It’s one of the best championships in the world with some of the biggest races, so returning feels like a dream come true..”
Endurance Excellence: Thompson Returns
Silver-rated driver Parker Thompson, who impressed the team during the recent Daytona test, is confirmed to join the full-season drivers for the five key Endurance Cup rounds. Thompson, the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro Champion, has rapidly established himself in IMSA and adds a vital layer of depth and speed for the long-distance events.
Parker Thompson: “I’m excited to finally get the best kept secret of 2026 off my chest, I am heading back to my roots for the full IMSA endurance campaign! No ABS, No BOP, just downforce and hot nasty speed in the LMP2 class! I couldn’t think of a better group of guys to do it with than the Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports team. Thank you very much to Bryan, Bobby and Robert for their trust with this opportunity. January and the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona can’t come soon enough!”
Rolex 24 At Daytona: The Four-Driver Superteam
As previously announced, the team will field a powerhouse four-driver lineup for the season-opening, iconic 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona. Confirmed to complete the quartet is two-time FIA World Endurance Champion and Le Mans class winner, Ben Keating.
The No. 52 ORECA 07-Gibson team for the 2026 Rolex 24 At Daytona will be: Misha Goikhberg, Harry Tincknell, Parker Thompson, and Ben Keating.
Ben Keating: “Returning to Daytona every January is special, but doing it with people you consider family makes it even better. It’s great to be back with Bobby and the PR1 team, and this new BHA partnership only strengthens that foundation. I love racing in the LMP2 class, and looking at the speed and experience in this lineup with Harry, Misha, and Parker, I know we have a car capable of winning. It feels like home to be back in this paddock, and I’m ready for the challenge.”
Leadership Perspectives
Bryan Herta, President – Bryan Herta Autosport: “The completion of our 2026 driver roster marks a significant step forward for the program. Combining Misha and Harry as our full-season pairing gives us a perfect blend of championship experience and race-winning pedigree. Adding Parker for the Endurance Cup, and welcoming back Ben Keating for the Rolex 24, gives us one of the strongest driver lineups in the LMP2 paddock. We are ready to challenge for wins right out of the box.”
Bobby Oergel, Team Principal – PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports: “This is an ideal lineup for us. Misha and Harry will be a quick and consistent duo all season, and having Parker’s speed for the longer races is invaluable. With Ben rejoining us for Daytona, we have four drivers who understand what it takes to win a 24-hour race. The momentum from the test is real, and this lineup ensures we start the season in the best possible position.”
