ROBERT NOAKER, No. 13 Robert Noaker Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) – “We didn’t make many changes to our Dark Horse R from qualifying, because we knew track conditions were going to be similar. We were able to avoid some oil on the track, though it made the race a bit more challenging.  Overall, the car did great, and it was good for the team to get another win.”

DEVIN ANDERSON, No. 22 TechSport Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) – “We felt strong on the first two restarts and were able to give [Robert] Noaker a real challenge. He was able to navigate the track very well once the Oil-Dri was on the track, and I was not in the position to challenge him. We’re going to keep developing, and we’re going to come back tomorrow and be even stronger.”

MARCOS VENTO, No. 18 McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DH) –“To be on the podium today for race one is a great accomplishment. Yesterday was a rough day for us, but the crew worked really hard on our Dark Horse R. A huge thank you to them for helping us get here.”

ZACHRY LEE, No. 48 McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL) –“Today was the closest I’ve been to [Alex] Bachoura and [Alfonso] Diaz all year, and when they had their incident, I was able to inherit the lead. The Dark Horse R is very fast at VIR. It has a ton of power, and it puts it down really well. The esses are very challenging, and it takes a lot of guts to race the car through them at speed.”

ALFONSO DIAZ, No. 15 TechSport Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL)  – “Our Dark Horse R had a good setup, but everyone had pace today. All the top cars were just flying. Every restart was tough. Every entry into the first corner was tough. Every braking zone was tough. The Dark Horse R handled it all beautifully.”

PAOLO SALVATORE, No. 84 Torre Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R (DHL) – “It was ‘showtime’ today, and I did everything I could to deliver. It wasn’t the perfect race, but I’m very happy to be on the podium this morning.”
