Series Shows Team Spirit
At Road America, the Mustang Challenge paddock showed what it means to be a part of the “Ford family.” When two drivers were involved in incidents that could’ve ended their whole weekend, their direct competitors stepped up and provided them with back up cars.
In the Dark Horse Legends class, Spark Performance offered a car to TechSport’s Alfonso Diaz, who is the main championship rival to their driver Alex Bachoura. Diaz went on to win Sunday’s race in the car Spark Performance lent to him. In the Dark Horse class, Robert Noaker Racing offered their spare Dark Horse R to Sam Paley, who challenged Robert Noaker for the lead and ultimately finished second in Sunday’s race.
Devin Anderson Impresses in Rookie Season
In the first three rounds of the championship, rookie Devin Anderson has proven to be a fierce competitor in the Dark Horse class, finishing on the podium in all but two races this season. Anderson bounced back after a race incident to finishing the weekend with a third place podium at Road America.
