DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Fresh off a 1-2 championship finish in the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class, Porsche Penske Motorsport is changing its two-car driver lineup for the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

After winning the 2024 GTP title with Dane Cameron in the team’s No. 7 Porsche 963, Felipe Nasr will team with Nick Tandy in the upcoming season. Tandy moves over from the No. 6 Porsche, where he and Mathieu Jaminet finished second to the sister car in this year’s championship.

Jaminet remains in the No. 6 Porsche for 2025, where he will pair with Matt Campbell in a reunification of the driving duo that brought Porsche a Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) championship in 2022 with Pfaff Motorsports.

The announcements came earlier today in Stuttgart, Germany, as Porsche unveiled its 2025 driver lineups for both the WeatherTech Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship. Kevin Estre and Laurens Vanthoor, who will team in one of the WEC entries for the 2025 season, were also named the third drivers for the Nos. 6 and 7 cars, respectively, at some IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup races in the WeatherTech Championship.

“Porsche Penske Motorsport has enjoyed successful campaigns in both the IMSA and WEC seasons in 2024,” said Jonathan Diuguid, managing director of Porsche Penske Motorsport. “We won the 24 Hours of Daytona, scooped the title pool in the IMSA championship and now head to Bahrain leading the (WEC) drivers’ and manufacturers’ standings. Our success is also largely due to the strong performances of our driver pairings.

“For 2024, we relied on consistency and continuity and made only a few targeted tweaks to the squad,” Diuguid added. “This decision proved to be right. Spurred by these successes, we’ll take a similar approach for 2025. The IMSA and WEC race calendars allow us to mobilize the driver pairings even more often. The door has opened for involvement in both series.”

The announcement also mentioned that Cameron – who this year collected his fourth IMSA championship in the past 11 seasons – is leaving the Porsche program, as are Andre Lotterer and Frederic Makowiecki, who were primarily WEC drivers this season. Porsche Junior driver Julien Andlauer was promoted to drive one of the team’s WEC entries next season.

“We put much thought into our squad for next season’s international racing campaign. With the new lineup, I believe we’ve put together a winning combination for 2025,” said Urs Kuratle, director, Porsche Factory Motorsport LMDh. “We’ll have two very experienced drivers in both series, plus two drivers in sister cars, all of whom have come up through the ranks of Porsche’s junior program and completely won us over as talented youngsters. I’d also like to thank Dane Cameron, Andre Lotterer and Frederic Makowiecki. All three have contributed to getting the Porsche Penske Motorsport campaign to where it now stands in global endurance racing: at the top.”

Nasr and Jaminet remain the constants in the Porsche Penske Motorsport lineup for the WeatherTech Championship. Those two drivers will be in their respective cars for the third straight season in GTP. The full-season driver lineups for each car have been/will be as follows:

No. 6 Porsche 963
2023: Mathieu Jaminet/Nick Tandy (finished fourth in points, two race wins)
2024: Mathieu Jaminet/Nick Tandy (finished second in points, two race wins)
