WeatherTech Championship GT Race Cars Meet Their Road-Going Counterparts

Eleven Manufacturers, More Than Any Other Series in the World, Show the Tie between Their Racing and Street Beasts at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

MONTEREY, Calif. – The 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship features 11 different manufacturers fielding GT3 race cars, more than any other racing series in the world. On Thursday evening at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, one example of each manufacturer’s GT3 race car was joined by its road-going counterpart for a unique opportunity to showcase the strong connections between the racetrack and the streets. The GT3 racers represent the world-class competition in the WeatherTech Championship’s Grand Touring Daytona Pro (GTD PRO) and GTD classes.
