Af Corse LMP2 Confirmed for 2025 WeatherTech Championship

Italian Team Won Class at Watkins Glen This Year

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No. 88 Af Corse ORECA LMP2 has been confirmed for the full 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class.

While the Italian-based team founded in 1995 by Amato Ferrari (no relation to the Ferrari car company family) has competed periodically over the years in IMSA’s GT classes, Af Corse made its LMP2 series debut this season with immediate success. The No. 88 ORECA LMP2 07 drove to victory in June at the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen with co-drivers Nicklas Nielsen, Luis Perez Companc and Lilou Wadoux.

The 2025 driver lineup for the No. 88 Af Corse ORECA will be named at a later date.
