DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – We’re less than three weeks out from the first race of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season and confirmations of driver lineups keep coming.

Eric Lux and Devlin DeFrancesco are returning to defend their Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) win in the Rolex 24 At Daytona. This time they will run with Rick Ware Racing (RWR). Lux is slated for the full season, teaming with Pietro Fittipaldi, the Formula 1 team test driver and grandson of two-time F1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi. IndyCar driver DeFrancesco is in for the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup (IMEC) rounds in the No. 51 RWR ORECA LMP2 07, with NASCAR Cup Series driver and defending Daytona 500 winner Austin Cindric joining for the Rolex 24.

Another 2022 Rolex 24 winner, Kay van Berlo, is changing classes this season. After winning the iconic season opener in the Le Mans Prototype 3 (LMP3) class last year, van Berlo is teaming with Alan Metni for the entire ’23 season in the GT Daytona (GTD) class, sharing the No. 91 Kellymoss with Riley Porsche 911 GT3 R. Julien Andlauer and Jaxon Evans complete the roster for this month’s Rolex 24.

In other confirmations, Team Korthoff Motorsports set its lineup for the No. 32 Mercedes-AMG GT3 that returns in 2023. Mike Skeen and Mikael Grenier will be behind the wheel for the full GTD season, joined by Maximilian Goetz and Kenton Koch at the Rolex 24. Also, Sean Creech Motorsports named Nico Pino and Danny Soufi to fill out the team’s LMP3 Rolex 24 lineup alongside previously named full-season drivers Joao Barbosa and Lance Willsey.
